Profile J.O.C.E.L.Y.N I frequently fall in love with fictional characters like Edward Cullen, Uchiha Sasuke, Tsukiyomi Ikuto, Goo Jun Pyo and Soh Yi Jung. Okay so the last two has more to do with my apparent obsession with Lee Min Ho and Kim Bum. Super Junior is da bomb. 13eyond Your Imagination! Looooove Chewy Junior! No it's not because it sounds like Super Junior. ![]() |
title: All I want for Christmas is youuuuuu~
date: Thursday, December 11, 2008 time:4:55 PM Phew, finally got this post done. WARNING: Super long post! Well, actually I didn't do that much shopping. I'm back from Hong Kong! Actually I came back on Wednesday, but who in the right mind would blog at 11.47pm? I feel so blah coming back to Singapore. Rawr, wanna go back to Hong Kong! ): Got loads of photos, but probably not going to upload all of them here 'cause I look unglam in most of the photos. -.- Guess I'm not photogenic? o.o Soooo many things to blog about, I don't know if I can remember. Day 1 Flight was at 3.30pm, or was it 4.30pm? We reached the airport at 1pm and had lunch, even though lunch was provided on the plane. The food at the Kopitiam sucks. Or maybe it was only the stall that I ordered from. And it was expensive too! My grandparents left their bag which contained their jackets in the food court. We only realised after we went through the er, departure gates? Anyway, stuff at Hong Kong isn't cheap too, except maybe for clothes. I watched Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging on the plane. :D Hottie alert, Aaron Johnson, who acts as Robbie in the movie, is cute. *hurries off to google his picture* THERE!
I love their train stations 'cause they have Super Junior M's poster advertising about their shows. :D SEE??? Too bad they're coming to Hong Kong on the 27 and 28 December if not maybe I could see them. Fat hope, why would famous celebs be taking trains or be where mobs of fangirls would stalk them. EEEEEK, Yunru says she saw Attack on the Pin-up Boys VCD at IMM Popular! I want it, even though I watched it on Crunchyroll already. Anyone generous enough to buy it for me as an early Christmas present? HAHA. Anyway, we reached Hong Kong at around 6.30pm and it was already dark. After that we took the airport transport back to Metropark Hotel Kowloon! Damn ex, 110 HKD per person. 110 x 6 = 660 660 HKD = around 132 SGD??? Hunted around the area for some place to eat dinner. Gosh, we ate on the plane, I have no idea why we ate dinner again. Cold weather makes you hungry? I love the weather there, except for the dryness. But it's good that I don't sweat, since I sweat pretty easily. I ate some noodles which looked and tasted suspiciously like Maggi mee. -.- The food in those kind of small small shops is expensive, might as well eat in restaurants. And most of it tastes weird. I like the dimsum there though. :D Day 2 View from our hotel room! First thing I saw when I went in were flamingoes! Well, I expected them to be pink but only their legs were. Aren't flamingoes supposed to be pink? Then we took two long looooong escalator rides up the mountain. Finally, we got to the rides. Went on the Mine Train which was a roller coaster. It wasn't really scary, if not for the fact that it was located on a mountain; directly below was the sea. O.O Random: I think I'm addicted to Wrong Number, which is my blog song. I LOVE ROLLERCOASTERS. :D Then we walked a looong looong way to the other rides. Mine Train was my fave ride, the others were nothing special. Hee, maybe I'm biased 'cause I love roller coasters. Lunch time, wanted to eat Macs at first but there was a long line. Psshhh, all the stalls had long lines. After lunch, went to some sort of aquarium? Something like Underwater World. There was a really large pool and there were loads of marine life in it. I saw three really hugeeee rays and there were sharks too! The pool was really pretty. Oh well, you can't really see the size of the ray from this picture since it's hiding under the water. Here's another! There was also this enormous fish tank where there were lots of fishies swimming! I have no idea why I was so excited since I'm not a huge fan of fishes. I think they're creepy. Eek, garden worms, or whatever they're supposed to be called. There are more pics but most of them are pretty blur. Then we went to see jellyfish! It was really pretty 'cause the entire room was dark and the whole tank of jellyfish were lighted up and they even changed colours! Nothing much to elaborate after that. I wanted to go on Mine Train again but my parents said that we had to take the cable car back to the lowland. ): Boy, the line for the cable car was loooooong. Later, we realised why the line was moving so slowly. Each cable car could carry a maximum of 6 people. But the attendant there didn't ask the people lining up to fill up all the seats. Most of them were couples so each cable car only had like 2 people on average? -.- We went shopping at 女人街 at night! :D I bought two long blouses, well I suppose they can be counted as dresses? Oh no, I wonder when I'm gonna wear them. My mum's gonna nag and nag at me about buying clothes that I don't wear. Day 3 Disneyland, my favourite place out of the whole trip! :D We woke up late and then kinda lost our way 'cause my dad was reading the map upside down. -.- Actually, we could have gone directly to the train station but my dad wanted to save money and tried to lead us to another station which was closer. We ended up climbing up a hill to a rich people neighbourhood. I bought a jacket after breakfast! Wonder when's the next time I'm gonna wear it again. o.o The train to the Disneyland Resort station is cute, 'cause it has mickey-mouse-shaped windows and handles! After a long train ride... DISNEYLAND! Initially, my parents didn't want to go to Disneyland 'cause the entry tickets were expensive and my godmother said that there were mostly kiddie rides. I'm glad we did go in the end. :D Me and my brother chiongggggged to Space Mountain. Space Mountain was the most thrilling ride in the whole theme park. -.- As said by my godmother, most were kiddie rides. But it's okay, 'cause I went on most of them too. Alot of adults were riding on the carousel! I wanted to go on it too, but nobody wanted to accompany me. ): Aiyah, so limited rides only. Must ride all to get your money's worth! I sound like a typical kiasu Singaporean. Sleeping Beauty's castle was beautiful, but I got scammed 'cause I thought it was a really big castle when it's more like a doorway? I thought that I could go in and explore it. The one in Thailand's Dream World was bigger! Even that had one room where Sleeping Beauty was in it. I love Disney. :D My favourite Disney princess is Ariel! Hahaha. ![]() Me and my grandma in the teacup ride! There was an Astro Blaster ride where we had guns and had to shoot at the X's. Super fun, I got 320000 something I think. Or maybe more. My mum only got 4700. Nyahaha. I loved this ride! Inside were many many dolls, all representing different countries and cultures. The boat moved too quickly for my dad to take photos. ): As you can see, my mum and I are in most of the pictures. My grandparents and brother don't like to take pictures and my dad is usually the camera man. Waiting outside the 3D theatre for the show to start! It got dark pretty soon and my bro, dad and I went to line up for Autopia, a car ride. ![]() Frankly, I was disappointed. I thought it was a go-kart 'cause usually rides like these have long lines. We couldn't even control the car, it was moving along the track. -.- The waiting time was freaking 1 hour. Gigantic Christmas tree! We left 15 minutes before the start of the Sleeping Beauty show 'cause my mum thought it was late already when it was only 6pm! D: Didn't stay back to watch the fireworks either, 'cause it started at 8pm. Trained back to hotel and watch America's Next Top Model! :D Day 4 Outside our hotel~ Oh yeah, did I mention that we lived on the 12th floor? There's no 13th floor, like most hotels. o.o Somehow, I think the hotel we stayed at is creepy. ._. Anyway, we went to Ngong Pin 360 that day! Long cable car ride up again. On the way up the mountain! Everytime I ask my brother to take a picture with me he'll go, "Noooooo." If it's my mother then it's a totally different story. Hmph. D: Finally reached, I think it took about 25 mins? We went through an audio-visual showcase about Buddha? o.o It was cool, 'cause they had headphones with different languages then we watched a cartoon about Gautama Siddhartha. Not that I'm that religious, but it was interesting? The other one was a waste of time of money. Basically we just went into the theatre and watched a cartoon about monkeys. -.- After that, we had to climb up a looooong flight of stairs to reach a Buddha statue. Apparently, it's to prove your sincerity in praying. The flight of stairs, it was really really long but you can't see it from the picture. Outside the train station was a shopping centre with many factory outlets of branded stuff! Which means there were alot of sales and the clothes were cheaper. I like Espirit, but their clothes are very expensive. Luckily there was a factory outlet there. :D Taken outside some random shopping centre. Nothing much to say about the last day. ): Went back home and touched down at Singapore at 10.30pm. |
